but looking for something less expensive (this set which I like is over $500!, because it plated with real gold. I would like to get something like this that is however completely fake and for a small fraction of that cost..... So anyway if anyone has any good leads let me know!)

Maybe we can make ours? I'm thinking more of floral garland rather than gold.
Pavel, I'm pretty sure most churches have a pair you can 'borrow' unless you want to keep yours for sentimental reasons... have you checked with skete.com or easternchristian.com?
If you just want to borrow, I'd check with some local Greek parishes, they may have more than the Copts, I dunno.

yeah your right on that Seraphim, I found out last night at our blesing of the rings ceremony, our church has its own pair. And unlike some of the EO like the Greeks and Russians, saving or displaying the Crown isn't really done
